Hello and welcome to health care magic,
It was indeed an unfortunate incident. If your wife is breast feeding regularly the chance of getting pregnant is low as breast feeding prevents ovulation.
However it cannot be left to chance alone.
There are no natural ways to prevent
pregnancy once contact has occurred. The only remedy now is use of either an
emergency contraceptive pill within 72 hours of contact or a intrauterine contraceptive device [ copper t or any other] within 5 days to prevent pregnancy.
If you do not want to use any methods a pregnancy test taken 3-4 weeks after the episode will help to rule out pregnancy.
Other contraceptive methods apart from condoms that can be used by breast feeding mothers are contraceptive depo injections given once every 2-3 months depending upon the drug. They may cause spotting or irregular bleeding in some women, but are very effective.
There are no natural methods to abort but in future
coitus interruptus that is pulling out just before ejaculation may be used to prevent pregnancy. It has a high failure rate as it needs a lot of control on part of the male partner.
Hope this was helpful.
