My Mom Told Me That She Is At 4th Stage

My mom told me that she is at 4th stage risk of heart failure. She had a few ischemic trokes, pulmonary embolism 4 years ago, is 75 yeasr old. High blood pressure. On warfarin for the rest of her life. When I read the desciption she is more like at stage 3 (she is from Ukraine, and they may use different classifications). She is more less comfortable at ret, but can walk a short distances, and takes care of the daily house duties.

I wonder what kind of life expectancy she may have?

Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
Your mother is 75 years old, and have ischemic attacks, and pulmonary embolism. Resulted in heart failure, and probably she is in compensation of the heart, that is why she could look after her self.
Due to over stretching, or more ischemia, if the heart becomes uncompensated, she may be at risk.
So long her heart is in compensation, there will be no problem to her life and medium work.
Let her take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and protein rich foods,to have good health, recovery, and resistance.
