The other week it felt like something was blocking my throat when I ate, I put this down to phlegm as I hVe recently had a chest infection, the feeling then went. Over the last couple of days it has come back but further down my neck, hurts when I swallow food and liquids and also when I burp. Please advise.
I ve been having this sharp pain every time I eat or drink. It especially hurts when I drink something hot. It s a dull pain if I m not eating or drink. It kind of feels like something is stuck all the way down in the center below my breasts. It hurts so bad! What could it be?
Hello. About a half an hour ago I tried swallowing 2 glucosamine/chondroiton pills (something I do almost every day) and one went down the wrong pipe, the other one I immediately spit out. After roughly 5 minutes of coughing (I could feel it in my chest and was having a hard time taking a deep breath in or out), I finally coughed it out (the whole pill, not pieces). I can talk fine now but every few minutes I feel like I have a rattle in my lungs (like when you have a cold ) and I have to cough to make it go away. I ve read that I may have a bout of coughing for a while after coughing such an object up, but how long should I continue coughing before I need to go get checked out, if I even do. I feel fine (other than my chest is sore now) and I m certain I got the whole pill up. I see sometimes you ask for an age with this type of question - I m a 45-yr old female.
I have recently ( 4 weeks ago) , undergone keyhole surgery for a prolapse and also rectal repair. Even though my recovery seems to be slow, I am improving..... After having a good day - been walking about, over the last couple of hours I am experiencing a bloated/ discomfotf in my stomach. I am going to the toilet normally..... Prior to surgery my GP was treating me for IBS.....I think this may be the current cause of my bloating. What diet do you suggest that I follow to ease the symptoms?? Thank you
