Lump On Forearm, Pain In Elbow Area. Diagnosed As Cyst. Suggestions?

I have a lump on my forearm. if I bend my arm to my chin and look down toward my elbow, it is about 1 inch before elbow. I have had it for about a week. I have had pain in my elbow area for about a month. I lifted some heavy things today, now it is larger and it hurts enough for pain medicine.
It is oval shape 5/8 wide x 1in long x 1/4 raised. it is warm today. yesterday was cold.
I just went to doctor yesterday, and it was half the size. She said it was a cyst, and it would go away on it's own, it I didn't touch it.

Hi,
It seems that you might be having infected sebaceous cyst giving rise to this problem.
If it is a cyst then it will burst open and will feel better for some time and again it will reoccur.
If this thing happen in future, consult surgeon and get it excised with sac.
A chance of having Lipoma should be ruled out.
Ok and take care.
