Hi,I am Dr. Alexander H. Sheppe (Psychiatrist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Loss Of Sexual Desire, Erectile Dysfunction, Less Semen. Is This Androprozen? Treatment?
I lost my sexual desire and suffering from erectile dysfunction. Penis becomes weak and does not erect sufficient for intercourse. Semen does not come out much more. Is it cureable. Please advise and suggest medicines for sexual desire and increase volume of semen quantity. I am at the age of 50 years. Am I patient of androprozen? I need one male baby. I have one female baby. Mentally I feel sexual desire but my health does not permit. If I go for intercourse, within a few minutes semen comes out and like a water and a very low quantity.
I would like to inquire if you have diabetes or hypertension? How is the status of your general health? Generally men with chronic diseases have a higher incidence of erectile dysfunction and andropause. Obesity is also a major factor in erectile dysfunction and andropause.
I would suggest a check-up with your Urologist to do a complete physical examination and some basic blood works to determine the cause of your sexual dysfunction.
First line treatment is still lifestyle changes with diet and exercise. There are also vitamins currently marketed to increase vigor and vitality - contains ginseng etc. although it has no approved therapeutic claims. These vitamins may help with your problem. Pharmacologic therapy is also effective although you need cardiology clearance to take erectile dysfunction medicines e.g. VIAGRA, CIALIS etc.
I hope I answered your question and best of luck.
