Long Periods Can Be Due To Having Lutera?

I just started Lutera the 8th of this month. I started my period the same day. My periods have always lasted 4 to 5 days. No more, no less. But I have been on my period since the same day I started Lutera on the 8th. That s 7 days. I had a miscarriage almost 2 months ago, and my period has been slightly off, but not like this. Is this because of Lutera?

Hi there

Dear you have two reasons for increased bleeding , First as a side effect of Lutera and second is Miscarriage.

why miscarriage is reason for bleeding? Due to miscarriage, there will be significant fall in your blood level and you might be anemic. And anemia is itself a cause for increased bleeding. Get done your Hb level and correct your anemia, eat healthy.

Good Luck
