Lifestyle To Prevent Damage Due To Cervical Spondylosis?

I am a 22 year old female, and diagnosed with cervical spondylosis on c5 and c6 levels, my neck and shoulder muscles feel very weak and fatigued..I've had a course of piroxicam.my pain is not so severe, but neck muscles often start paining/spasming and I've to resort to tizanidine for pain relief.what should be my lifestyle to further prevent any damage and how is my pregnancy going to affect this condition? Since I am unable to carry even the smallest of weights for a long period.
Thankyou

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
hi
before i answer may i know-
1.how is your grip srength and do you feel numbness or tingling sensation in your fingers.?
2.any pain or weaknes in the lower limbs?
if your grip is normal and answers to above question is NO,my advice would be don't get panicky, all you need is excercises for your neck and shoulder,a notritious diet rich in calcium and vitamin d.pregnancy has nothing to do with your neck pain and stiffness.what about thyroid hormone?
take care and feel free to contact anytime
