Left Arm Pain Between Shoulder And Elbow, Mild And Painful, Unable To Raise Arms Straight. Treatment?
hello sir iam XXXXXX. my mother is 50 years old and her ht is 150cm and wt 60kg. for past 1 week she have left arm pain(between the shoulder and the elbow ). some times it is very mild and some times it is quite painful. she finds quite difficult to raise her hands straight. she is very nervous to consult a doctor. is it a very serious problem? wat is the reason for it?
Hi dear thanks for question on health care magic,your mother 50 year old having pain between shoulder and elbow,and unable to raise the hands ,keeping in mind age of your mother ,two possibilities of pain are there,No 1 she might be having Angina pectoris ,which is radiated to arm,for which you have to go for her ECG and other test.No 2 frozen shoulder from osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis or from any other inflammatory condition for which you have to for X RAY left shoulder along with other investigation.and consult some orthopedician
