Late Periods, Nausea, Dizziness And Headaches. Pain In The Back And Lower Abdomen. Should I Be Concerned?

I ve been stressing about a lot and I m a month late for my period. I was told my breast have grown but I do not see any changes. I do workout with a friend and experience nausea , dizziness , and few headaches . I didn t worry about it until my upper back and lower abdominal would hurt out of nowhere. I don t want to overreact but I don t know what to do.

Hi there,

Thanks for writing in.

I would advise you to get a urine pregnancy test; esp in view of the fact that you are 1 month late for your periods.

If it is positive/ negative , please visit your gynaecologist. If it is positive, indicator of pregnancy. If it is negative, have to know the cause of delay in periods.

How were your previous monthly periods? Was it regular (for eg. every 28 - 30 days ) ?

I hope I have answered your question. Please do get back to me if you have further queries.

Have a great day :)

Regards,
Dr. Divya Kuttikrishnan
