Hi Doctor, I am 38 years old female and for the last 1 year I am experiencing pain in my knee and elbows. I consulted an orthopedic and he suggested my to have the following tests done. (1) Blood routine (2) Vitamine D3 (3) RA factor (4) S Uric acid In my Blood routine report, Haemoglobin count is 9.9 Haematocrit is 34.0 MCH is 23.4 MCHC is 29.0 Lymphocytes is 53 ESR is 50 RA factor is NEGATIVE Vitamine D is 15.23 He said I am Vitamine D deficient and prescribed CALCISOL 1 sachet a week for 8 weeks. My concern is about the high ESR rate and low Haemoglobin count. I would like to know the reason for the high ESR and low Haemoglobin.I am very particular in taking healthy food and my worry is inspite of taking healthy food why is my Haemoglobin count is low. Please advice.
