Itching In Genitals, Ring Worm Type Rashes, Scratch Wounds On Penis. Causes For Symptoms?
my boyfriend is having itching problemson his genitals plus some parts of the body,he has rashes which looks like ringworms on some parts of his body,he has scratch wounds on his penis & he doesnt seem to get well.the problem is that iv e also started scratching the outer skin area arround my vagina .what could this be?

Hi thanks for the question.Your boyfriend is having itching around his genitalia and other parts of body,you think this ring worm and you have also started itching around your vagina.
There are few conditions which can cause itching around the genital area and rest of the body.
The No1 cause could be Scabies which doesn't produce rash ,but itching over rabies can produce rash
No 2 can be taenia corporis what you call as ring worm.Both of you are advised to consult dermatologist to establish cause of itching and rash.Hope i answered your question.

Dear dorothya , skin lesions are best diagnosed by examination but your short history suggest that both of you both have got fungal infection / or scabies consult any dermatologist you both need systemic drugs plus local applicants under supervision and certain hygienic precautions your doc. will suggest you. good luck
