Is Thisilyn Milk Thistle Helpful In Fatty Liver ?
I am 55 years oId, female. I have hypothyroidism and I´ve been taking levothyroxine for 2 years. Now I was diagnosed with fatty liver and I was recommended by my doctor to take thisilyn milk thistle. Can I take it without worrying about side effects? Can they interact with no problems? I need your advice.

Milk thistle may not be helpful in fatty liver.
Treating the risk factors is more important.
Weight reduction if obese, controlling blood glucose, cholesterol and avoiding alcohol are the important steps in treating fatty liver.
S adenosyl methionine and Trimethy glycine act better than milk thistle in the treatment of fatty liver.
