Is There Any Relation Between Tooth Abscess And Diastolic Dysfunction?

Hello am a 26 years old male. my hight is 172 and weight is about 90.5. i have been diagnosed with mitral vlave prolabse since dec 2009 and also diagnosed with high blood pressure. after some doctors trials to find a proper medication for the blood pressure diovane valsartan 80 mg have been discribed to me (1 tablet a day) and no medication for the MVP. since jan 2010 i realized that i have a tooth abcees but i have not treated it untill now. during the last week when i visited my dr he informed me that i have distolic dysfunction grade 2 and a hypertensive heart deasies due to uncontorlled pressure. my blood presurre have been uncontorled for about 3 weeks and on avreage is about 140/90. my questions are

what should i bear in mind if am planing to extract the tooth that got an abcees this week. are there any ellaborations i need to provide my dentist with?

is there any relationship between abcees and distolic dysfunction?

Thank you

DEAR USER,
THANKS FOR CONSULTING WITH HCM

I UNDERSTAND YOUR CONCERN

YOUR HYPERTENSION AND DIASTOLIC DYSFUNCTION IS NOT RELATED TO YOUR TOOTH ABSCESS

BUT BEFORE THE DENTAL PROCEDURE YOU NEED TO HAVE YOUR BP UNDER CONTROL SO THAT THERE IS NO ADVERSE EFFECT DURING THE PROCEDURE

YOU CAN CONSULT A CARDIOLOGIST TO GET YOUR BP UNDER CONTROL BEFORE ANY TOOTH PROCEDURE

HOPE I ANSWERED YOUR QUERY. YOU CAN MESSAGE ME FOR ANY FURTHER CONCERNS
