I'm Asian female aged 46. I have undergone a surgery on Saturday 19th May. The next schedule surgery will be sometime next week. Both surgeries will need general anesthetics. is it harmful too me to go through GA in such a short span of time? What are the side effects?

Hi,
Welcome to HCM!
No, there is no harm in undergoing two surgeries with general anaesthesia in a weeks time. You need not worry and can go ahead with the scheduled operation.
Hope this solves your query. Feel free to ask any doubts.
Regards,
Dr. Sridhar Reddy
