Is There A Way To Perform Tooth Operation In A Stroke Patient?

Dear Sir my father had acute tooth ache. he had also a brain stroke for which we have consulted our neurologist. he had prescribed some medicine to take before any operation in tooth. One dentist at brahampur told us he can t do this operation because he can t stop bleeding due to stroke medicine. so what should we do now. Father everyday taking pain killer. Please help me. So where should i go for checkup

DEAR SIR
Hello
If your father is on stroke medicines (blood thinning ) & needs a dental treatment , the only way out is that you should plan for dental treatment depending on urgency .
Ideal would be to stop blood thinning medications for 4-5 days & then go for operation .
You can restart stroke medications after dental treatment .
Obviously there will be risk of getting a stroke but mostly to the tune of 4-5%.
