Is There A Possibility Of Recurring HPV After An Intercourse?

male, 21. my gf has hpv. Very mild strand and was treated and had the little spot removed. we are college students. been together for 2 years. great healthy relationship. will she get another outbreak if we have sex without a condomn? Do we need to always were one to prevent this or does it really not matter.

prevention is always better than cure.
having unprotected sex is always dangerous and that too with age having been diagnosed having HPV infections is still more dangerous.
there are very high chances of recurring of the infection.
i would better advice you not to go for sex with any women not supposed to be your wife
HPV vaccines are also available these days...can consult your doctor for that too

Thank you for query.HPV can be transmitted by sexual intercourse also by skin to skin contact. still it is better you use condoms during intercourse.as you are having relation since 2 years both would have already have this strain.As these are benign strains you can allay fears.you can consult your doctor for HPV vaccination which protects against some malignant strains.You can get back for any clarifications with details.Dr Bharatesh D Basti Dermatologist and venereologist
