Are there any drug interactions between Magnesium Supplements, antidepressants and sleeping pills? My friend takes all three and I know she takes more than the recommended dose of magnesium. The other night she took the magnesium and then a sleeping pill, she usually takes half but she took a whole one and within a few minutes she seemed to have a very altered mental status, she was crying and confused and possibly hallucinating, and her muscles were suddenly very weak and even limp. I was very worried about her and I wonder if these drugs could be interacting. I appreciate any help you can offer me
