Is There A Chance Of Getting Pregnant If One Skipped Taking The Pill?

im taking a birth control pills for almost a month, and i already had my period, and after my period, my boy and i slipped on 3/2/2011 and 3/3/2011. i took my pill for 3/2/2011 but i forgot to take my pills for 3/3/2011 and 3/4/2011 is there chance for me to get pregnant?

Hello, and I hope I can answer your question.

Missing one birth control pill in a pack if you take the one you missed as soon as you remember rarely will result in an accidental pregnancy but missing two pills can trigger ovulation, which means that for the rest of this pack you are not protected from pregnancy. Your risk of conception depends on if you had unprotected sex 3-5 days after you missed your pills or not.

So I would just use a backup method of birth control until you finish this pack and if you miss your period do a pregnancy test. You do not need to worry if you find out you are pregnant the baby is not affected by the birth control pills you were taking.
