Is the pain in the hamstring area which hurts to walk, sit, lay due to a pulled muscle?
The back of my leg hurts in the hamstring area it use to flare up once a month at most now I'm lucky to have a day where it isn't in crippling pain i can barely walk on it it hurts to sit walk lay in bed cretin ways i went to a doctor and they said it was a pulled muscle but I haven't even done anything to inflict a pulled muscle
Welcome to HCM. Your symptoms suggest sprain of hamstring muscles. It usually occurs due to improper posture during sleeping, sitting, working, exercise and unequal heavy weight bearing on that leg. Tale nsaid with muscle relaxant. Apply nsaid gel locally. B12,folic acid,L-carnitine,calcium,minerals will be helpful to get fast recovery. Physiotherapy is advisable. Keep in touch with your doctor.
