Is Temperature, Facial And Body Rashes, Hands Tingling Due To Scarlet Fever?

Hi my daughter has been diagnoise with scarlett fever. she has mantained 97.8 degree temperature and does not have a sore throat. however she has a rash that started on her face and is now over her entire body. Her hands are tingling. Does this sound like Scarlett fever. she started the antibiotic 24 hours ago.

With the presenting complaints it may be due to bacterial infection like scarlet fever, but laboratory investigations to be done to confirm it.

your daughter's presents with Fever, rashes started on the face and spread all over the body are classical picture of scarlet fever.

I advice you,
1. to check for any swollen glands in the neck, also for sore throat in future.
2. Do a rapid streptococcal test to confirm
3. Continue antibiotics for 10days.
4. Consult your child specialist further
