Is Severe Abdominal Pain Normal After Clinical Abortion?

I am a 23 year old female. I weigh 160 lbs and I am 6ft tall. I had an in-clinic abortion yesterday and now I am experiencing very sharp pains in my lower abdomen. I do not understand why I am feeling such discomfort if the pregnancy has been removed. Is this normal?

HI,
After complete abortion pain is less.
mild pain is there till involution of uterus.
if pain is severe you may need pelvic scan to see the adnexa,and retained products of conception .
consult your gynaecologist.
