Is Ritalin 20mg Safe For ADHD?

I have been struggling with ADHD for some time. I need help it is really effecting my job at my bank and even my family life. 36 years old athletic 6"1 200 pounds diagnosed as a child and have been on Ritalin 20mg up to mg. Then I went to Adderrall 30 mg three times a day but I haven't taken medication for over two years. I have insurance but dont want to see a local doctor I moved over a year ago and have to much pride to go to a doctor to talk about this. its to small of town.

I can understand your concerns.
In my opinion you should leave your pride aside and visit the doctor for a prescription. If the symptoms of ADHD are affecting your daily functioning it is all the more indication that you should get medications. If you are not comfortable with the local doctor then please visit one in a bigger city.
Both ritalin and adderal are effective for ADHD but aderrall is safer choice for adult ADHD.
