Is Pregnancy Possible While Having Bilateral Early Polycystic Ovaries?

My ultrasound scan report indicates: Multiple tiny follicles were noted along the periphery. ( Bilateral early polycystic ovaries). Is there any problem in my fertility? Can I get pregnant? My gynecologist suggested me to reduce my weight and asked me to take 5mg folic acid tablet. Kindly clear my doubts.

Hi,

PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome) can cause infertility. In early stages, it can be overcome by proper exercises and conservative measures.

If you fail to conceive, you can consult an infertility specialist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
