Is One FO-Ti A Day To Treat Hair Fall Harmful For Liver?

I am a 60 year old female. I want do try FO-Ti fo thinning hair on top of my head. However, I have read of possible harmful issues to the liver. I am waiting for 2 bottles to arrive but I been told the dose is one twice a day. Would only one a day be less harmful to liver? Will one a day be effective for hair loss?

Hello,

As per current literature, Fo-ti taken orally may cause liver damage. However topical preparation of Fo-ti when applied directly to the skin is probably safe.

You need to undertake LFT (liver function test) as a baseline before using and then periodically every 2 weeks or so, to see any Transaminitis, in particular, e.g any rise of SGOT & SGPT levels.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
