Is Numbness Of Tongue A Side Effect Of Novamoxin?

hi,
I am currently on Novamoxin 500mg for strep throat and this morning I have noticed that the tip and middle section of my tongue is completely numb. Should I be consulting my doctor or discontinuing use of the medicine or is this a side effect that will go away?

Hello

Thanks for the query

Numbness of the tip of tongue is not related to Novamoxin. However I suggest you meet a physician to rule out common causes of numbness like Hypothyroidism, Vit b 12 deficiency and water retention.
Please do not ignore this symptom as it requires attention as soon as possible

Regards
