Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
hi, I am currently on Novamoxin 500mg for strep throat and this morning I have noticed that the tip and middle section of my tongue is completely numb. Should I be consulting my doctor or discontinuing use of the medicine or is this a side effect that will go away?
Numbness of the tip of tongue is not related to Novamoxin. However I suggest you meet a physician to rule out common causes of numbness like Hypothyroidism, Vit b 12 deficiency and water retention. Please do not ignore this symptom as it requires attention as soon as possible
