Is Nausea And Tingling Of Feet Side Effects Of Propranolol?

I have had chronic insomnia since August 2011 and in September was given Mirtazapine 15mg per night. In November I was prescribed Propranolol for palpitations (normal heartbeat but thudding hard) which only happened when I lay down in bed and it stopped me from getting to sleep. In December I started getting palpitations during the day, so I started tapering the Mirtazapine thinking it could only be this, and stopped it 3 weeks ago. My palpitations have gotten worse and so has my insomnia, averaging 2 hours of sleep a night . Could the palpitations be a result of withdrawing from Mirtazapine or lack of sleep? I m also experiencing nausea and tingling feet and wondering if this could be side effects of the Propranolol. I m so tired and confused.

Hi,

You should check your blood pressure blood sugar. Firstly, if high blood pressure can cause this also. Please consult a cardiologist for proper because Propranolol causes hypotension along with lowering heart rate and mild difficulty in breathing.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
