Is It To Be Concerned About Child Taking Ibuprofen?

Hi, My son 3 years 9months has maybe ate two 200mg of ibuprofen around 30 minutes ago ? He denied it at first till I mentioned hospital and said he chewed two. I m 50% sure he s ate it but can t be certain. I m really concerned, please help. Chanel

Hi,
Thank you for asking question on health care magic.
The therapeutic dose of Ibuprofen is 10 mg/kg body weight 2-3 times daily
Your son is expected to weigh about 16 kg.
He has taken 2 tablets of 200 mg each means he has just taken a day's dose or a bit less.
Hence there is nothing to worry.
