Is It Safe To Use Dermovate Cream While Taking IVF Treatment?

I have been going through ivf and was using dermovate cream on and off during treatment for inflammation around vulval area. I had my embryo transfer and had a positive pregnancy test. I am now 5 weeks pregnant and applied small amounts of dermovate about 5 times over 3 days for the first time this week since being pregnant. I have since read that you should not use it during pregnancy. Could I have caused any harm to the feotus. I have stopped taking it. I only used small amounts smaller than a pea since being pregnant and only about 5 times, but during ivf treatment before falling pregnant I used it frequently because I was not aware of the health risks.

Hello. When a person applies a corticosteroid inskin, drug absorption into the blood is minimum. Could be fetal damage if the blood absorption was high. Therefore the probability of fetal damage is ,initially, low.I wish you good health.
