Is It Safe To Take Prolution Depot Injection When Pregnant?
Hi. My wife is 26 weeks pregnant. This is her first pregnancy. She has weak cervix (soft). She has had cervix stitches 3 weeks back. Our doc has suggested to take proluton depot injection every 2 weeks. Is it safe to take, both for mother and baby ? What are the possible side effects?

Any medicine during the pregnancy is not advisable at all, you have to go for second opinion because putting patient on hormone therapy during the gestational period is very unlikely, you better discus this with your doctor fist then go for second opinion, hope this information helps you, have nice day.
