Is It Safe To Take Loprin Till 9 Months Of Pregnancy?
Hi i am 28 w pregnant and my Dr prescribed me loprin and duphaston 2 times a day from start of pregnancy now she stoped duphaston but continue loprin till 9 month my IgM test value is slightly high in test but other tests are negative she prescribe me clexane inj 40 from today till end of pregnancy but i think i have no blood cloting problem and 1 year before i had herpeas on lips may be my IgM test values came high due to that herpeas germs that are still in my blood ,i am not willong to inj clexane ,can loprin is safe for my baby is it right to use it till 9 month/sabiha

Hi Sabiha, I have gone through your question. Loprin is aspirin which is given in hypertensive disorders of pregnancy, clotting disorders and autoimmune diseases.
It is given maximum up to 34 weeks of pregnancy. It has no side effect on the foetus or the mother.
Injection clexane is low molecular weight heparin which is given in clotting disorders.
If you don't have any history of clotting disorder, then you don't need to take injection clexane.
Increased IgM values for herpes indicate active infection, for which you should be given antiviral drug.
