Is It Safe To Take Co Codamol And Paxidep Together?

Hi, I have been prescribed co coda mol for two days....am also taking paxidep 25 daily for last 6 months....I had told the doc I was taking paxidep. Now read co codamol has codeine ...should be taking both? No fever or pain ..being treated for malaria in Lagos. Thanks . George

hi, thanks for approaching healthcare magic. effect of co codamol may be reduced when taken with paxidep. so if you are already on co codamol and starting paxidep, you may need dose adjustment of co codamol for better pain relief. please get back for further queries.
