Is It Safe To Take Paxil For Panic Attacks

Hi, I have suffered from panic attacks for years, I currently take Paxil bus par normally works for me until a week ago stared to have panic feelings again upset stomach loss of appetite can t seem to let all the horrible feelings pass . I m wondering if I may need to increase my does? I have Xanax also for really bad panic.thanks

Panic disorder is a chronic illness and require treatment from psychiatrist and psychologist as treatment may recur inspite of regular on treatment.

In drug treatment medicines like Selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRI) like paxil is used. If you have attack while on treatment then it a indication to increase doses of medicines. Same time you can use xanax during the anxiety attack. Apart from that psychotherapy like CBT will be helpful for you along with medicines.
