Is It Safe To Take Metronidazole And Azithromycin For STD?
i went and got an std test i came back with two diff ones they gave me metronidazole and azithromycin.. every since i started them i have been really sick i don t know if it because of the meds or the meth that may be in system. will the med work if i have used yesterday.. I slept and ate and not using today.. thank you gabby

STDs are more than 30 in number. Some caused by virus, some by Bacteria, some with Fungus, parasites and unicellular organisms etc. Treatment differs in each condition according to the findings and diagnosis.
Metronidazole is effective against, 3 conditions in STD management
1. Trichomoniasis
2. Bacterial vaginosis
3. Anaerobic infection
Similarly Azithromycin has a role in many bacterial STDs from Chlamydia to certain ulcer producing conditions like Syphilis, Chancroid etc.
Just follow the advice of your treating physician.

Well come to HCM
If your disease being cured with the given medicine then this is just nothing to worry and if the symptoms persist then this can be tried with Tab Ofloxacine 600 mg twice in day just 1.2 g would be enough for this, else the other symptoms would be due to stress, hope this information helps.
