Is It Safe To Take Duphaston And Susten Together During Pregnancy?

Hi doc, my wife is 30 years old. We had a miscarriage last time, now she is 5 week pregnant. Doc suggested to take duphaston 10mg 3 times a day and susten 400mg vaginal tablet. Is it safe to take both these simultaneously as these both are for progesterone? Is it safe to insert susten tablet in vagina or should we consider injection?

hI. yOU ARE RIGHT BOTH DUPHASTON AND SUSTEN ARE PROGESTERONES. IT IS SUFFICIENT TO TAKE SUSTEN 200 MG BD VAGINALLY. IT IS A MICCRONISED PROGESTERONE , MORE SAFE AND HAVING NO SIDE EFFECTS WHEN USED LIKE THIS AND GIVES BETTER CONC. OF THE DRUG. i WILL ADVISE YOU TO GET YOUR PELVIC SCAN DONE ( FOR EMBRYONIC DEVELOPMENT AND TROPHOBLASTIC REACTION) AND IF IT IS GOOD ONLY ONE THING IS ENOUGH AND IF SOMETHING ELSE THEN SOME OTHER TREATMENT MAY BE ADDAD TO IT .THANKS AND GOOD LUCK.
