Is It Safe To Take Amoxycillin And Azee For Chest Collapse?
My son aged 5 years 8 months daignosed for Chest collapse between middle lobe & Lower lobe and he is treated for continuos infections for las t six months.
Now the doctor has advised amoxycillin for one month twice daily and azee 200 5 mg once daily -three days a week for two months.
Reason for the chest collapse has to be looked into. If at all due to infection ,then what infection is it has to be ascertained. Because usually antibiotic like Amoxycillin and Azee are not recommended for such a long time. Treatment of infection running for months is usually given for Tuberculosis, but the mentioned medicines are not for TB.
