Is It Recommended To Take Azithromycin To Treat Fever, Headache And Cough?

Dear Sir
My wife has cough, fever up to100 degree with chills and rigor. she has having headache too. she has no burning of urine. What will be the solution for it?She took Azithromycin for 2 days and she has having one year child.

Hi
Thanks fir your query.
Your wife is having symptoms of respiratory infection which is mostly viral in nature.
Antibiotics should not be started without advice from doctor and once started full course should be taken.
Give paracetamol in case fever is above 100F.
Give plenty of fluids.
Azithromycin is ti be taken atleast for 3 days.
