Is It Possible For Migraines To Evolve?

Can migraines evolve?
I have had migraines since I was 4 years old. I am now 22. I have been on several types of migraine medications and none of them seem to work. I have also had MRI scans done and saw a neurologist to determine what is causing my migraines. I am 5'11 and I weight 220. I live in the United States. I have lost some weight and I thought that might help my migraines but it doesn't. Over the 18 years that I've had my migraines they have never felt this bad. I use to be able to lay in a cold, quiet cold room and though it would be difficult to sleep I would eventuallt be able to sleep. Now I can't sleep at all the smell of anything and everything makes me throw up. It is nearly impossible for me to lay in a dark room. I can't take medications because none of them work anymore. When I do get a migraine I get a terrible pain right at the base of my head and that had a recently started about 7 months ago. It seems that everytime I get a migraine the pain gets worse and worse. Is it possible for migraines to evolve?

Hi thanks for asking question.

According to your history you have very severe degree migraine and you seems to be taking excess stress for that.

You have done your MRI scan.If it is normal then migraine will surely be cause.

First don't take stress. As it will aggravate your headache.

During the attack of migraine consult doctor and take sumatriptan injection for that.Or take strong analgesic tablet for migraine that is containing sumatriptan plus naproxen combination.Sumatriptan spray also available.

After elimination of attack take prophylactic therapy for migraine like amitryptillin.

Meanwhile avoid triggering factors like......
-Stress
-Alcohol
-Smoking
-Skipped meal
-Bright light
-Very noisy environment
-Hypoglycemia

Coffe is good.Early in morning you can take it.

Peppermint oil inhalation good for improving blood flow and open all sinuses.

Take 6 to 8 hour sleep.

Try yoga and meditations.

Muscle relaxation physiotherapy can be tried.

Lavender oil topical application useful.

I hope these will help you.
These are best measures for your migraine headache that i can provide to you.
