Is It Normal To Have Headaches When Under Stress And Strain?
Hi,
My name is Ivan. I work as a programmer 12 hours a day. Recently I have noticed I have mild headache that lasts for some time during the day and then it goes away. I researched and it might be tension headache. My neck hurts and sometimes back of my head and most of the time like something is squeezing my head. Pain is mild nothing serious it's just making me uncomfortable. Few minutes ago I was in a toilet taking a poo and was under strain and my headache started it wasn't there whole day and now it's here is really mild but it's bothering me. Is this normal? Thank you!
I had gone through your question I can understand your concern about your head ache.
As you said you are giving too much time to your work, if you are using computer or any screen which is fixed and limit your head movement as well as the eye movement. There are the chances of refraction error. You need to visit an opthomologist and get your power checked. This can be the cause for mild headache.
Second important one can be exertion headache because of too much workload, you may need the rest after every too to three hours.
Yes the episode you had can be normal too, you don't need to worry, if the head ache persists you must visit an neurologist. During mean time you can have the paracetamol 500 mg if required.
Hope my answer will help you and visit us back if you have any further questions.
