Is It Normal For A Parkinson To Get Schizophrenic Spells Of Hallucination ?

Hi Docs, My Father @ 79 years, is a Parkinson Patient rather identified about 4-5 years back, but, after going through the material exhaustively, I guess he had the symptoms of hand tremors etc., for over 4 decades, but, being highly atheletic and active till 70 he was active so the impacts were never visible. But, when he started developing Arthritis and both his knees were almost crippled, we realized he had Parkinson also. In 2011 we got his both knee replacement surgery @ 77, which was very successful. But, during that period he was little over hospitalized due to Bio-chemistry Imbalance, due to heavy anti-biotics and other post operative drugs for One Month and for next 6 months. Meanwhile, due to the induce of Parkinson Drugs he developed little over Moderate levels of Schrizophenic behaviour. Which however, is regulated through drugs. He Blood Pressure is always under Control, No Heart Ailments, Very Border line Diabetics from the age of 65-67 years, always around 110-120 post meal (max), may be once in a year or two he might touch 160, but, never required to take Insulin. He has excellent and self-restrained-controlled-regulated and decent food habits. Moderate appetite. Todays, major issue is atleast 2-3 times in 24 hours of a day, he gets the Schrizophenic Spell of Hallucinations, during which he will imagine few thiefs, some criminals or people trying to come and kill him or steal his goods of so, which we along with our mother regulate and factulize him with the situation and get him into the normalcy in about 45-90 minutes, sometimes, the spell is little severe, over 3-4 hours. The timings of the spell are, at about 1030 hrs to 1230 hrs during day, little rarely during evering about 1530-1730 hrs, Night time either he will have a brief to moderate spell for about 45-180 minutes (not regularly) either at about 2230-2400 hrs or early morning at about 0400-1530hrs. But, mostly, we regulate as family members. Once in a week or fortnight or so, the situation is little severe. Present Medications given are: 1) Pramipex (0.5mg-1.0mg): 2 to 3 times a day, (2) Olimett (2.5mg): 1/2tab-0-1tab, (3) Rasalect (0.5mg) once in morning, (4) Riuamer (3mg) twice daily, (5) Syndopa Plus (125mg) thrice daily, (6) Triple-A-Cal-Forte, Once daily (Morning), Metformin/Gluformin XR (500mg) if BSR 160mg SOS. Please analyse and suggest. Otherwise, He is Hail and healthy and maintaining regular diet, et al. Except little disturbances over Biological (Bovel/Urination: Constipation/Lose Motions: Sometimes). The tremors are highly regulated except for Body Swing due to Parkinson, but, better. Please analyse and suggest and modifications and Food and Drug Regulations and/or Modifications, please.
