Is It Necessary To Have A Circumcision In A Diabetic Patient Suffering From Balonitis?
what is the best circumcision in an adult 56years old who has has just experienced some balonitis and so far after using a topical cream it seemed to help but my doctor said that eventualy because of my diabetis I will probably need a circumcision. If so I have read that there is a high medium and low cut so my Question is which cut woul be the best in preserving the best feeling for sex afterwards and as my frenulum is cut but not sore and ther is a slight flap of skin just behind where the cut was should some or all of it be removed when having a circumcision if it comes to that.

I am so sorry to hear about your diabetes and this balanitis. Circumcision in no way affects your sexual feelings irrespective of the type. The area responsible for sensation is right at the tip of the penis and it is never touched during circumcision. The risk of infections in diabetics is real and has far reaching consequences. If you both think it would be a great idea to prevent future infections, then I will also encourage you to go ahead and do it.
