Is It Easy To Drain Fluid Trapped Between Muscle And Lining Of Muscle?
Hi there, I got a knock on my quad muscle a month ago. And there is still so much fluid in it. I when to a physio and he said the fluid was trapped between the muscle and the lining of the muscle... He said I should see a doctor to have it drained, is it easy to drain the fluid?? Thanks
Usually, there are fewer chances for the fluid to be in between the muscles and the facia. But still having a clinical examination will be advised. Initial try will be conservative - like an anti-inflammatory drug, hot water fermentation and gentle myofascial release and kneading massage. If with this the fluid is drained out you may not have to worry. In case an In vivo procedure is needed than the orthopedist should be able to take the call.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
