Is It Advisable To Discontinue Primolut Depot Injections?
i had twins miscarriage in the 5th month(normal delivery). then i have a daughter (normal pregnancy). im pregnant again(7 weeks). now my doctor is giving me primolut depot injections though she is saying everything is normal during this pregnancy? i had 1 injection today, 3 more weeks to go, should i discontinue them?

Hi dear, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.Primolut injections contain progesterone which are given in patients with high risk of preterm labour like history of previous preterm delivery, short cervical length in ultrasound or by clinical examination or twin pregnancy.
Moreover, it not given so early in pregnancy.
In my opinion, these injections have no role at 7 weeks of pregnancy
