Hi doc.. im ghine and im on my 8 weeks and 5 days of pregnancy.. im just curious.. i took up pregnancy test on my 4 week..and the line was pretty obvious.its positive..but now...i try it again im in 8 weeks and the line become more fainter.. im just worried..could it be miscarriage? I do still have some symptoms like sensitive nipples frequent urination and lower back pain..i also have sudden cramps but no bleeding.. hope u answer .thanks!

Hi, The first test was done at 4 weeks ,was it 4 weeks after the last menses? If so it's likely to be false +ve. due to urine infection causing frequency. (urine pregnancy test is +ve after about7 days overdue ) In case first test was done at 4 weeks after ovulation,& is faint +ve at 8 weeks- it's likely to be missed abortion/ blighted ovum. Get blood HCG test & pelvic sonography done to exclude certain things like tubal pregnancy/ blighted ovum. In case it comes out clear, no pregnancy- the breast signs & 2 months delayed menses are due to hormonal disturbances.Need Gynecologist's advice. Thanks.
