Is Having Gallbladder Removed A Risk To Normal Bodily Functioning?
I'm 24 years old. I'm have an appointment with a docter today about my gallbladder. Should a gallbladder be taken out? After only a few tests ''confirming'' that it is my gallbladder giving me little problems. And after reading about so many people that gallbladders have been removed and having a hard time coping with their lives now, I dont know what to do? Please help me!
Hi and welcome to Healthcaremagic. Thank you for your query. I am Dr. Rommstein, I understand your concerns and I will try to help you as much as I can. Generaly, in most people, there is no effect on digestion after galbladder is removed. in rare cases it may have some difficulties such as constipation or bloating. but if there is confirmed stones in galbladder with recurrent pain then surgery should be performed. I hope I have answered you query. If you have any further questions you can contact us in every time. Kindly regards. Wish you a good health.
