Is Diverticulitis, Related With Pelvic Pain?

I am diagnosed as having Diverticulitis following CT, however the ccolnoscopy was clear. I still seem to get pain more localised and sharp in the left pelvic quadrant. My recent bloods show ESR of 41 and CRP of 5. I am 50plus. What is the significance of all this? Otherwise no health problems
