Is Difficulty In Breathing Related To Blood Sugar Being 136?

I just checked my blood sugar because I feel like I am unable to catch my breath. When I checked my blood sugar it was 136. I have a meter because when I was pregnant I was borderline gestational diabetic. What does this blood sugar mean? does it relate to my feeling of not being able to catch my breath?

Hi my dear,

Your blood sugar at the moment when you had difficulty in breathing is considered borderline high. It is normal for the blood sugar to get increased in cases of stress/anxiety.

I suggest to monitor your:
- fasting blood sugar also
- together with blood pressure

Record the results and get them analyzed by your doctor. Depending on the results, specific treatment will be prescribed.

Take care!
