Is Burkitt's Lymphoma Curable?

hi. my mother is a known patient of type 2 diabetes and SLE. in the year 2009 she came up with the disease NON-HODGKINS LYMPHOMA. after her treatment in TMH mumbai., she was running fine. but now she has developedv a recurrence of BURKITT'S LYMPHOMA. Is it curable and what are her chances of survival?

Hello dear. The chances of cure in a recurrent burkitt lymphoma are lesser. However ,only curable therapy is transplant. Please be in touch with hematologist at TMH.
