Is Breastfeeding Recommended After Having TB During Pregnancy?

am 34 weeks pregnant... doc ask me to get a tb test done and it says positive. then she ask me to go for chest xray. the chest xray report says negative and i dont have any infections or disease in mu lungs. my concern is whether is that ok to breastfeed my baby after my baby birth? anythng that in need to worry?

Welcome to the HCM,
Breast feeding does not have a list of contraindication except very few.
A patient of confirmed TB with Antitubercular treatment can feed her child with out any hesitation. But the baby is also given some low dose of ATT for a brief period.All should be done with consultation of pediatrician.
In Your case I doubt the diagnosis. Why TB test was done, other tests required should also be supportive for TB Which is not in your case.
Any way if even TB is confirmed in your case, still you can feed the child with proper medication.
