Is Bleeding Normal After Sex?
Can you tell me please if it is normal to bleed when having sex. I am a 48 year old woman. When we have sex, my partner says he can feel something 'snap' inside me, like a membrane, it is usually when I orgasim. I lose quite a bit of bright red blood but then it stops. It is not painful.

as per your history bleeding after sex is not normal.usually we define it as postcoital bleeding which happens when there is abnormality in cervix .as per my opinion you should get a gynaecological examination and pap smear done this will rule out any cervical problem /cancer .this passage of bright red blood should not be avoided .
