Is Bleeding In Nose Normal After Removing Adenoids?
My son had his tonsils and adenoids removed 10 days ago. Today he had a nosebleed for the first time in his life. He bleed about a handful (he held his hand under it as he ran from one side of the house to the other to get me). We had in stopped within a matter of minutes. But is this normal after surgery? Or is this something we need to call the on call doctor about.
HI Thank for asking to HCM I really appreciate your concern, this is the common post operation complication in tonsillectomy, this has to be informed to the surgeon as early as possible, take care of your son have nice day.
